The Braid Bar was founded in 2004 after the owners Lybra and Tikisha had a bright idea about a black owned braiding salon. The idea was to bring beauty and passion under one roof and make magic happen and that is just what they did,

 

their name swept the south and became the most popular braiding salon in the Atlanta/ Decatur area as we know it,  It became More than just braids it became a brand ,

 

the Decatur location currently houses over 50 employees and  entrepreneurs. We do everything from nails, hair, braids, make-up, lashed ,boutiques and café’ style  restaurant.
